Bollywood couples Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Sushant Singh Rajput-Ankita Lokhande, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan too are at different stages in a relationship. While Naseeruddin Shah’s definition of these stages were – hub (attraction), uns (infatuation), ishq (love), aqeedat(reverence), ibaadat (worship), junoon (obsession) and maut (death). I

n Bollywood, love is broadly put under three categories. BollywoodLifers, here take a look…“Just friends”: Ranbir-Kat, Ranveer-Deepika, Anushka Sharma and cricketer boyfriend Virat Kohli, Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur are few couples who fall under this category. These jodis often use the term ‘just friends’ to define their equation. They are not sure about their future together. For example: The Gunday and actor and Ms Padukone might go on a vacation, bring in their birthday together, but will not admit that there’s something brewing between them . Or like the Bang Bang babe and her beau Jr RK, were spotted in Spain, New York and Mumbai, Kat’s bikini pictures even grabbed headlines. But they are not in a relationship unless there’s a marriage angle involved. Do they believe that admitting their love would hamper their career, well we aren’t sure. Their relationship is a big open secret and they love the mystery around their affair.

“I do”: These are couples who are out in the open. They do not mind screaming that they are in love from rooftops. No paparazzi or media attention bothers them. Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput, Ritvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi, Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai are the few celebs who do not mind wearing their heart on their sleeves. While some of them are ready to hit the aisle and make their relationship formal, others are happy to have just found a loving company.

“Happily married”: The Nawab of Pataudi and his begum, bindaas Balan and the Madras Cafeactor are happy to keep their personal and professional life on a steady progress. While Kareena Kapoor turned Khan recently after marrying Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan got hitched to Siddharth Roy Kapur while she was at the peak of her career and more recently John Abraham tied the knot with his ladylove Priya Runchal in a private ceremony. These couples make us go ‘awwww’ and restore our faith in happy
