The final argument’s in the actor’s case are currently in the process. Read on to know details!

Continuing with the final arguments in the Salman Khan alleged hit-and- run case, the actor’s lawyer on Wednesday claimed that the entire evidence the prosecution had collected was fabricated.

Advocate Srikant Shivde sought to debunk the prosecution’s theory that the actor was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the 2002 mishap, which killed one and injured four.

Shivde said the Khan’s blood sample was sent for testing two after the incident, and by then the blood had started undergoing fragmentation, thus showing alcohol traces in the sample.

The defence lawyer claimed that none of the authorities followed the rules while conducting the alcohol detecting test. “First, the actor was taken to Bhabha Hospital where his blood sample was drawn, but the reports attached by the police are from tests conducted by the JJ hospital.” He said there was no clarity with regard to the procedures followed while drawing Khan’s blood at Bhabha.

At JJ hospital, Shivde said, the doctor didn’t seek the actor’s permission before collecting his blood sample. Also, the doctor didn’t mention that he was wearing a glove while doing so. Shivde said that the vials were sealed by a ward boy, who was not authorized to be a part of the procedure. “One cannot rule out the possibility of the ward boy being drunk and that the contamination of the blood could have occurred at that point.”

The defence will continue with its final arguments on Thursday.
