Shahrukh Khan’s Fan look to be developed by Oscar winner Greg Cannon

SRK’s much awaited film with YRF will go on floors in July

Yash Raj films has roped in Oscar-winning make-up artiste Greg Cannon to develop the look of superstar Shahrukh Khan for his upcoming film Fan. 

The movie, directed by ‘Band Baaja Baarat‘ helmer Maneesh Sharma,  will see the superstar playing the role of a fan.

The film begins shooting July 2014 and the actor has begun work on the film. Cannom, who started work on developing SRK’s look for the film, spent considerable time at the YRF studio Monday with Shahrukh, Sharma and producer Aditya Chopra. Greg, who has been nominated for nine Academy Awards and has won Oscar thrice for Brad Pitt starrer The Curious Case of Benjamin ButtonMrs Doubtfire and ‘Dracula‘.

“We are attempting a never-seen before look for Shahrukh which will be both challenging for us and exciting for the viewer. Understandably, this will be kept under wraps till the first look of the film is revealed,” Sharma said in a statement.

The film has been written by Habib Faisal and goes on floor mid-2014 for a release on August 14, next year
