Motorola is all set to announce its first post-Google smartphone on May 13 at a press conferences in New Delhi and London.

As the invite states, this smartphone will "connect more people to the world's information and each other, and they can do great things". It also says, the phone is "made to last. Priced for all."

While the official details about this smartphone for the masses will be available only on Tuesday, here's what the rumour mills have been telling us about this Android smartphone.

Motorola has not yet disclosed anything about the phone other than that it is a mass market device. Much before Motorola shared the invite, Technoblog reported that Motorola would launch a basic smartphone in May, revealing it could be possibly named Moto E. The blog did write about the specifications too.

The Moto E is likely to have a 4.3 inch display, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB internal storage, 5 MP rear camera and run on Android 4.4. It was also reported to have a dual-SIM card slot, FM Radio and a 1900 mAh battery. According to the report, the phone will come in three variants: XT1021 (single SIM), XT1022 (dual SIM) and XT1025 (dual SIM with digital TV).

Zauba, an Indian site that keeps tracks of imports and exports, has listed the Motorola Moto E. The White model (XT 1022) has been listed for Rs 6,330. However, the launch price for India is expected to be around Rs 10,000.

This was followed by the leaked image by @evleaks showcasing Moto E to be available in Turquoise and Lemon coloured back panels.

Flipkart, which is the official and only retail partner for Motorola's existing Moto G and Moto X in Indiahas tweeted that Moto E will be available only at Flipkart. The sketch tweeted by Flipkart stated "Goodbye old phone. Hello new Moto. Coming soon only on Flipkart.com".
