After success of Dabangg sequel, there is scope for Jai Ho star to create a franchise out of  Kick

Recently, actor-producer Kalyan Ram had disclosed that sequel to 2009 hit Telugu film Kick tentatively titled Kick 2 is on the cards with Ravi Teja essaying the lead role once again. This has caught our attention as Salman Khan’s most anticipated filmKick, which is a remake of Telugu blockbuster, is all set to enthrall the audience from July 25.

Salman Khan’s Kick shares the basic plot with its Telugu namesake about a guy who gets a kick from living life on the edge. Telugu film Kick 2 has led many filmipunters to predict that Salman‘s Kick may also get a sequel. The Devil has already tasted success in the world of sequels with Dabangg 2 setting the cash registers ringing.

Just like Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg series, The Devil in Kick  looks like an eccentric, quirky,  fun, larger than life character whose shelf life is not limited to just one film. With Hrithik Roshan’sKrish sequel working wonders at box office and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Returns due in August, we believe there is scope for Salman’s Kick to get a sequel.

This interesting turn of events with announcement of  Telugu movie Kick 2 has led to few important questions floating in the air. Is Ravi Teja’s  Kick 2 an effort to divert the attention to  Telugu original as Salman Khan’s Kick
