On Sunday, the movie ‘Chandni Bar’ completed 13 years and the director Madhur Bhandarkar got nostalgic. The movie starred Tabu and Atul Kulkarni.
Madhur Bhandarkar received a National Award for ‘Chandni Bar’ in the year 2001, which changed his life. He tweeted on Sunday, “13 years ago, on this day, ‘CHANDNI BAR’ released and changed my life #Tabu @atul_Kulkarni. An unforgettable experience!!”
Madhur’s last direction in 2012 was for the film ‘Heroine’ which featured Kareena Kapoor. The director has also helmed movies like ‘Fashion’, ‘Page 3’ and ‘Corporate’.
His latest venture is ‘Calendar Girls’ which will incorporate new faces. He said that this film is to offer purposeful entertainment to all those movie buffs.
