Asiad Kabaddi: Indian eves, men storm into final, eye gold

The Indian women's kabaddi team defeated Thailand 41-28 to storm into the final at the Songdo Global University Gymnasium in the 17th Asian Games on Thursday.

Indian women started strongly to take a 8-4 lead, but the Thai women fought back to make it 8-9. 
At the end of the first-half, both teams were tied at 14-14.
The Indians came back a stronger force and bagged 27 points in the second-half in comparison to Thailand's 14.

Earlier, defending champions, India topped Group A and entered the semi-finals.

Later, the Indian men's team defeated hosts South Korea 36-25 to set up a final clash against Iran. This is the seventh consecutive final for the men's team. 

India are counting on two gold medals from these two events to move up the medals table.
