Shashi Sumeet Productions, who had created Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki with Shraddha Arya and Sudeep Sahir in the lead roles, are all set to come back with season 2. According to rumour mills, it seems the production house has approached Sridevi for the lead role in the second season.
The production house which has shows like Punar Vivah, Diya Aur Baati Hum andTumhari Pakhi to their credit apparently wish to cast the veteran actor and make the project like her comeback vehicle to TV. If you remember, Sridevi had earlier featured in a comedy show titled Malini Iyer, which was produced by her husband Boney Kapoor. The production house hasn’t responded or given any confirmation on the same.
