Actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar passes away on monday-morning

The actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar was hospitalized about two weeks ago at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, as he was suffering from lung infection.

 

He was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to his severe condition. Monday morning, the 3rd of November, 2014, that is today, the veteran actor passed. 

The actor has won a number of awards in his entire long career by winning two Filmfare Awards – in 1984, he also won the award for the best supporting actor for ‘Ardh Satya’ and in 1991, he won the best villain award for his excellent heartless performance in the film ‘Sadak’. 

Sadashiv was always interested in acting since he was a school going kid and even when he reached his college life. The actor was fairly active and known for his social interactions and support. The actor will be always remembered and appreciated as he made a mark in the industry with his excellent villainous as well as for his cameos and the comedy roles. He also worked towards the betterment of all those people who were less fortunate.
