5 reasons why Kill Bill is a better watch than Kill Dil!

November 14, 2014 05:04 PM

Kill Dil starring Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Govinda and Ali Zafar has hit the screens today and though expectations were high from Shaad Ali’s latest film, it hasn’t managed to pack a solid punch. The main crux of the film is romance, action and revenge which why it reminded us of Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill. And of course the title of Ranveer-Govinda starrer is also similar to Tarantino’s highly appraised film. But how we wish if Kill Dil was as good as Kill Bill. So if you’re planning to watch a film this weekend, we give you 5 reasons why you go for Kill Bill and not Yash Raj Films’ latest venture…

Story line: Though both the films are about revenge and action, Kill Bill has a better and more sorted story line than Kill Dil. Also, the way Quentin Tarantino has presented his flick is not only worth watching but an cinematic experience in itself.

Action sequence: In Kill Dil, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar play sharp shooters. However, you will hardly get to see these two in action. On the other hand, Kill Bill has some high octane action sequences which are not just convincing but a visual treat as well. If you love action genre then Kill Bill is the answer. As for Shaad’s film, its nowhere in the race.

Star cast: While Kill Dil stars Ranveer, Govinda, Parineeti and Ali, they all fail to make an impact even together. As for Kill Bill, Uma Thurman alone is enough to keep glued to the screen courtesy her sword slasher act which is legendary.

Background score: Not only the background score of Kill Bill is epic but its catchy too and will stay with you long after you’re done watching the film. Watch the film, if you haven’t till now, and you’ll agree with us.

Worth your time: If you consider all the above aspects then Quentin Tarantino’s revenge-cum-action flick is certainly worth your time. Rather than buying a ticket and watching Kill Dil, you should by a DVD of Kill Bill and not a single penny of yours will go waste
