Zarine Khan and Ajaz Khan rocks Kathmandu with Vishal Kapoor

India based designer Vishal Kapoor is a successful trendsetter in the world of contemporary fashion.

 

Having a sophisticated 'line and look' taste his designs speaks volumes about his efficient mind and dedication towards his work. Vishal has opened up “PANACHErunway” along with Sweta Sirohiya Rokka (Kathmandu based entrepreneur) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Vishal Kapoor showcased his ethnic collection at PANACHErunway. This mega fashion event was supported by Nepal Tourism Board.

 

The event was in three fashion sequences and some bollywood dances. Hitesh Kaneria was a special guest for designer Vishal Kapoor's show who was all praises for Kapoor’s collection. Bollywood personalities Ajaz Khan and Zarine Khan walked as a finale show stoppers. Everybody was eagerly waiting to see Ajaz Khan and Zarine Khan and both were welcomed on the ramp with a very great applaud. Zarine Khan donned a Golden  lehenga with red shades and a complete diamond and red stone studded jewellery which she teamed with a net chunni. Actor Ajaz Khan kick-started the grand finale by walking the ramp wearing black pants and jute jacket which had a velvet black Chinese collar.

 

Hitesh Kaneria said, " I am not much a stalwart...but it's been an honour to see the collection of Vishal Kapoor. It makes you feel you've arrived somewhere."

 

The Fashion sequences started with sequence of Pool Party wear. These garments were specially designed with Organic hand painted designs on Organic Cotton; Lycra and sheers. In pool Party wear most colours used were bright colours like blue, orange, red etc. Pool Party wear sequence opened by Aura Gurung (Miss Nepal Earth 2011) and ended with Vijay Lama (Nepali Actor & Pilot).  Second sequence presentation was the Fusion wear. The garments were mix of an Indian and Western style…. Mostly with Silk, Chiffon, Georgettes embellished with Swarovski. The fusion wear sequence opened by Nepali actress Nisha Adhikari and ended by actor Resh Maratha. The highlight of the event was couture design presentation. This collection was Vishal’s signature line and inspired by Mughal architecture. Heavily embellished Lehngas, Sarees, Shervanis made with Red, Electric Blue, Emerald Green, Golden colours and fabrics like velvets, banarasi silk, Georgette, jacquard left the audience spellbound.
