The North
Country Mall in Mohali reverberated with the high decibel sound of
bands. A ‘War of Bands Finale’ provided the perfect platform for
different bands to show their talent and win the 'Best Band Title'.
Twelve bands took part in the contest.The finalist bands were RET,
Street Jammer and Ibadat. Streetjammers won the contest, RET was
second and Ibadat was 3rd.The prize sponsors for the “War of Bands”
contest were Central, Da Milano & Samsung and My FM was the radio
partner.

Mr. Praveen Singh, Marketing Manager, North Country Mall said, "Apart
from the highly entertaining band performances & competition, we also
given back to society this Diwali. A ‘Wish Tree’ in the central atrium
of the mall has been a hit with visitors who are making use of the
opportunity to share the festive goodwill with society at large. For
every wish put on the ‘Wish Tree’, North Country Mall pledges to
contribute an equal amount in monetary terms to a social cause."

North Country Mall, the flagship project of Gumberg India, a
subsidiary of United States based Gumberg Global, is hosting a Diwali
Carnival at the Mall which will be on till 23rd October 2014. It is
noteworthy that J.J. Gumberg Co, headquartered in USA, is a Global
real estate development company & one of the largest privately held
retail real estate developers in the United States.
