Dhanush will be playing a vital role in the upcoming film ‘Shamitabh’, alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan and debutant Akshara Haasan. Dhanush in an exclusive interview with Bollywoodnazar was asked if his song ‘Kolaveri Di’ has any importance in his career to get him acceptance and recognition.
Dhanush without hesitation said, “The song ‘Kolaveri Di’ was a big co-incidence and it could have happened to anybody. But I am very thankful to God that it happened to me. But the song had a life of its own and it went out of my control at one point. Now after four years as well, it refuses to leave me. I don’t know how to get rid of this song. Infact, I am extremely, tired of it now. I have deleted it from my iPod and computer as well.”
‘Shamitabh’ is directed by R. Balki and it is scheduled to release on the 6th of February, 2015.
