Welcome To Karachi poster: Jackky Bhagnani and Arshad Warsi’s expressions are confusing!

Jackky Bhagnani and Arshad Warsi will soon be seen sharing screen space in Vashu Bhagnani’s latest production venture, Welcome To Karachi. Directed by Ashish R Mohan, the film is a political satire and revolves around two Indians who reach Karachi without a passport and somehow get stuck amongst Talibanis.

Jackky unveiled the poster on his Twitter account with a tweet reading, “The official #W2KPoster is out now!! What do y’all think of it ???” Answering his question, here’s what I think…

The poster is not the worst I’ve seen, but I’ve seen better. If anything, the poster is confusing. There are comic elements like the sign board that reads “confusion ahead” and the tagline- To survive they must stay foolish. Also the overall animated feel of the poster suggests that it is a comedy film, but Arshad and Jackky‘s expressions do not quite convey the same emotion. They don’t look foolish, they just look serious and stern. So I’m left wondering and also unimpressed.
