SANGRUR

Sh. Vijay Inder Singla, Congress candidate from Sangrur Lok Sabha seat today accused the Akalis of ‘unprincipled politics’ when their Chief Minister campaigned for INLD which is opposing the BJP party in Haryana.

Addressing poll meetings Singla stated that Badals will use different excuses like electoral compulsions or family compulsions at different times to pursue their personal agendas for capturing power by hoodwinking the electorate and their philosophy of ‘raj nahi sewa’ is only on paper and has been totally exposed and negated by the people of Punjab. Sangrur MP observed that renaming Central schemes or pasting photographs on ration cards or ambulances will not change the true story of development in Punjab which has been brought by Central schemes and voter is fed up of high handedness and mafia raj of Akali – BJP Govt. in Punjab.

Vijay Inder Singla further remarked that active campaigning for a party by Badals whose President is in Jail for corruption relating to a teacher recruitment scam only narrates their true stand on corruption and what the Akalis stand for and questioned how can they can justify the safe future of Punjab Youth. Singla also stated that Badals while campaigning in Punjab or in Haryana are only interested in ministerial portfolios and do not talk about development. Citing development in Sangrur through big ticket projects like PGI Hospital, enhancing road or rail connectivity etc. brought by him during his tenure, Singla stated that Ministers do not bring development but it is the hard work and perspiration put in by an MP which leads to progress.
