Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’souza proud for using Lai Bhaari song at Republic Day parade

Actor Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia are happy that the Mauli Mauli song from their film Lai Bhaari was used to represent the tableau of Maharashtra at the 66th Republic Day parade today.
The song, crooned by Marathi singer Ajay Gogavale, was played at the backdrop of the state’s tableau when it rolled out on the Rajpath featuring the holy Pandharpur Yatra.

The film was produced by his wife Genelia, 27, who also made a guest appearance in the movie.

“As a producer of Lai Bhari- thrilled that Mauli song was used to represent the State of Maharashtra. Barack Obama‘s first Marathi song,” Genelia wrote.
