Minister of Veterans Affairs consults with Veterans in Etobicoke

Etobicoke, ON – Veterans Affairs Canada

The Honourable Erin O’Toole, Minister of Veterans Affairs, along with Bernard Trottier, Member of Parliament for Etobicoke–Lakeshore, today met with Veterans and stakeholders to gain their perspectives on the key issues facing Veterans and their families.

Minister O’Toole reinforced the Government of Canada’s commitment to improving the lives of Veterans as they transition to civilian life by adopting a Veteran-centric approach, closing the seam between the Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Canada, and reducing red tape to benefits.

  • The Government of Canada offers rehabilitation services and vocational assistance to help improve Veterans’ employability after they leave the military.
