Rani Mukerji, who will be next seen in YRF’s ‘Mardaani’ was also offered Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’, but the actress rejected the offer and opted out of the film.
It is learnt that she was approached to be one of the leading ladies of the film opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, however she didn’t do the role because she had to perform some bold scenes in the film. Well now, Bengali actress Swastika has replaced the actress in the film.
It seems like after marriage Rani is not interested in doing bold scenes.
